What happens if one of my tools doesn’t work?

All the tools before they are hired again after the previous use are fully inspected for operational use along with a strict health and safety checklist, when they are re-issued, they should be in perfect working order. In the very unlikely case, there is a problem with any individual tool/tools please stop using the tool immediately and contact Toolbox hire to explain the issue you are having, a replacement item will be issued free of charge if necessary.

How many batteries do I get with my order?

For any pre made project box you will receive 2 fully charged batteries along with a charger. The voltage of these batteries may vary depending on the tools included within the chosen box.

How do I know how to use the tool?

For the correct/safe use and operation of each tool please refer to the manufacturers user manual that can be accessed through the Toolbox hire website. We also have a Tool Function section on toolboxhire.com where you can see a short video of each function of every tool being used.

Do I get a blade with the tools I hire?

Yes, a blade is supplied with every tool that requires one. There are ZERO additional charges if the blade is returned damaged or blunt.

How do I know what nails to use in the nail gun I have hired?

100 nails are provided FREE of charge with every nail gun hire however if you think you require additional nails these can be added to your order before you complete your order to save you having to source your own. These will be found inside your toolbox along with your hired tools.

Do I need a van to collect my rented toolbox?

No, our tool boxes have been carefully selected to fit easily within a standard car boot.

I have damaged my saw blade how do I change the blade (These include Mitre saw, plunge saw, Circular saw & planer)?

All blade changing information can be found within the Manufactures user manual section of the website however we suggest you return the tool to your local Toolbox hire branch where they will change the damaged blade for a new one safely. There may be an addition charge for the new blade depending on the tool that requires the new blade please ask branch for costings.
